Our landscapes­ – interior and exterior – contextualize the culture and community in which they are positioned. Our research and design portfolio reflects a range of projects, from urban streetscapes and residential backyards to speculative, rural restorations. Damon obtained a Master's in Landscape Architecture from the City College of New York where he was a scholar for the J. Max Center for Inclusion and Equity. His notable architecture projects include The Hills on Governors Island, Jamaica Bay Restoration Project and park spaces for The New York Housing Authority. His recent research and design intervention work in West Virginia's 'Chemical Valley' gained him an American Society of Landscape Architecture Honor Award. He currently teaches Landscape Design at New York Botanical Gardens in the Bronx and at Cornell University. Corwin Green is an educator, and Communication Designer, whose foci are the transformational aspects of design thinking and how collective power is created in design and art. A Creative Director, he is fascinated by brand development and engagement, the function and dysfunction of cities, and the ways space can be augmented and manipulated. A Massachusetts native, he earned an MFA from the Pratt Institute. I saw, though nowhere in cosmical space, the blazing source of the hypercosmical light, as though it were an overwhelmingly brilliant point, a star, a sun more powerful than all suns together. It seemed to me that this effulgent star was the center of a four-dimensional sphere whose curved surface was the three-dimensional cosmos. This star of stars, this star that was indeed the Star Maker, was perceived by me, its cosmical creature, for one moment before its splendor seared my vision.
